Our Explorers have been busy so far this summer! From learning points of sail, to boat nomenclature, they are well on their way to becoming proficient sailors. Over the last few weeks we have been busy polishing our skills in the event of a capsize, as well as our marlinspike seamanship skills (i.e. knots and line management).
This week, two of our Explorers took the exciting step of embarking on their first solo sail! Its great to see how far along they have been coming, as we’re excited to have the rest of the club solo next week.
